Meet Ella
Hi, I'm Ella! I am the owner and operator of Salon Eight Ellaven.
I grew up in Danville, Virginia as the eldest of six children. I found my passion in hair while doing my friends’ and family’s hair in high school. I was caught many times watching endless YouTube videos at night on hair, instead of sleeping. I always had a fascination with watching my brothers get their hair cut, and always noticing anyone at school changing or cutting their hair. In 2015, I attended and graduated beauty school in Greensboro, NC, while having found my preferred salon back in Danville. During this time I discovered I eventually wanted to open my own salon someday, since my Grandpa was very entrepreneurial and passed that mindset down to me. After a year there, I moved to Charlotte with my brother. We moved in 2017 and I was working at a blow dry bar and beauty supply store. I finally found a salon I loved in Uptown, where I stayed for 5 years. I learned so much about the industry and received coloring and cutting education from my coworkers constantly. The building the salon was located in was then bought out and not allowing lease renewals for hair salons. I moved to a salon in South End for a little over a year before fulfilling my dream and opening Salon Eight Ellaven.
Meet Wyatt
Hi, im Wyatt! Im the co-owner of Salon Eight Ellaven.
Although I don’t have the extensive knowledge in the hair industry like my partner, I have over six years of experience in the automotive industry building brands through marketing and recently handling the sale of high end performance based vehicles. My love in business comes from building my own marketing agency to help others grow. Over the past few years I have worked with some of the largest brands and help create content across all forms of media. I hope to bring a new creative side to Salon Eight Ellaven showing off some of the fascinating work of our stylists.

Ella here.
Why is the logo 811 but spelled differently? Well, my birthday is August 11th, hence the numbers. I wanted to have my name in the salon title but didn’t want it to be obvious, which is why eleven is spelled Ella-ven.
